Chubbers the Caterpillar

We decided to bring Chubbers down from the upstairs closet.  He was a favorite toy of Asa's and we hoped Asher would enjoy him as well.
He seemed to get a thrill (after he opened his eyes to really look at him) and even gave him a hug :)

Asher's 9 months old!

The Christmas Season Finale - Garvan Woodland Gardens

I think we've been going to Garvan Woodland Gardens the day or so after Christmas since Asa was 6 months old.  It's just beautiful with Christmas lights all over the place.  We highly recommend it for a family outing.

One of the new features.  You could walk through the train and pull the train bell.

There is always one, usually more, that gets transformed into all that Christmas is not.  Poor gingerbread girl never knew what was coming.

The sprinkles tend to get out of control.

Christmas has finally arrived!

Not at all thrilled about having to leave milk and cookies for Santa.  Oh dear!

Our ethnic Santa - We all giggled  :)

The loot Santa left.  Notice the finger at the bottom pointing.  I think it was Asa pointing at the dragon hat in his stocking.

Checking it all out.

The amazing chess set Robert made for Tim.  Yes, hand made, all out of wood!

Fireworks discovered!

We discovered a box of fireworks in a closet.  We weren't too sure how old they were or if they'd even work.   So we dediced to have an evening of fireworks.  The favorites were of course the Chinese dragons.
