Saturday we had some snow, sleet and rain. Mix that with a sick toddler and you've got a yucky day. We stayed in doors and maxed out our normal toddler entertainment - books, toys and videos. Thankfully Tim discovered the Lowe's build it yourself projects we'd gotten this past December when we rode the Christmas Train. Asa got very excited when Tim mentioned the words 'tools' and 'toolbox'! What little boy wouldn't?!? There are so many strange and interesting objects in a toolbox that normally are off limits for Asa, but with daddy's supervision provide a wonderful adventure.
Tim got busy reading directions and assembling the vehicles. Asa helped when he could but mostly investigated Tim's tool box. Tim and Asa created two things, a land sail boat (a sailboat with wheels) and a cool red truck. Asa was very proud and I think Tim was too.
