Asa's friend Ivy had a joint 'We're Three!' birthday party with her friend Olivia. The kids had a blast playing with bubbles, doing circle songs like Ring Around the Rosy and just running and having fun. Ivy's mommy made her a Tinker Bell cake and Olivia's mommy made her a Care Bear Cake. Asa was especially fascinated by the Care Bear Cake. Asa wanted to share in the cake fun and shared a seat with Olivia. He loved the little stars on Olivia's cake which were made out of fondant, he couldn't get enough of them! The kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the bubble machine. In fact, we bought one soon after the party because they are so much fun. The kids jumped and circled around each other trying to catch bubbles. Asa used some baby toys as tools to catch the bubbles - very fun! He and Olivia had a head on collision towards the end of the party and they both had a bump and bruise to take home with them, but they were OK. There was a goodie basket at the door and the kids got to choose some goodies to take home. Asa picked out 2 tiny blue cameras that click when you press a button. He took pictures all the way home.
